No 'you should wear make up and high heals' or anything of the sort, but this one works your self esteem, your 'womanly powers'. I absolutely found what I was looking for in this book. It made me a whole new woman. I had a pretty low self esteem and didn't know how to flirt etc and decided 'what if I can find a book that could help me.'. Not expecting to find what I was looking for, I orded 3 books from amazon one of them being Mama gena's school of womanly arts. It's wonderful.
I was going through a stressful period in my life (being a working mother of two toddlers), and I wanted something that can lift my spirit and give me back a sense of myself, I have to admit that it was a fun to read but the over all experience was disappointing and a waste of my money, I could not relate to many of her lessons, thought the exercises were silly, and her advises will only make my life more complicated. This book will not give you inspiration, empowerment or any new insights.
A week went by. .@*. A few more days go by. However, I recently met a man who really was impossible to relate to as we started an ill-fated romance. I had lost contact with my inner bitch, but with Mama Gena's help I got in touch with her again. I sent a whimpy response saying something about us all hitting our "reset buttons" and mentioned I probably wouldn't be able to be friends for a while.
Then I sent him another email subtitled: "This Is The One That Tells You Off."And I commenced to tell him off. I have owned this book for several years, and for the most part continue having fun without being reminded. Ultimately, he sent me an email to dump me saying he was getting back with his bi-polar girlfriend. I dusted off my copy of this book and started reading it.
If you feel like what you're doing - with men, with money, with your career, with life - isn't working, then it isn't, and it's completely worth it to try something new. And Mama Gena's books are a beautiful place to start. It's all so simple & common sense though - and yet not what I would've come up with on my own. I thought all that, too. I read both books within maybe five days, and I'm in love with Mama Gena's approach. I read the first chapter of this book online, and promptly bought this book and the Owner & Operator's Manual to Men. You can argue that this theme is played out, that it's a little cheesy, that you've heard it all before or even that you know what you're doing. The bottom line is, Mama Gena's proposition is delicious.

I am an open-minded girl in her twenties who has read this book, which could be summed up with the following:Enjoy yourself no matter what the circumstances. Dress your best every single day.
Repeat. She graphically goes into spreading out your nether-regions to explore your body, then decorating it with glitter and colour pens, which in essence gives a good message in self-awareness and appreciation, but her delivery in this aspect is quite silly.
